BIOGRAPHY
Skill Records is the home of songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, William Tolson. It is a blessing when God smiles on someone and bestows the gift of music. For William, the gift of music was overflowing! The first gift granted to him was the ability to play the guitar. He gave it back to the Lord by using his guitar skills to worship Him. At the age of 14, he started playing the guitar at church. William had a zest for music and began singing in various church groups. One of the church groups he participate in, was the Harmonizing Five gospel quartet. His membership in this men's quartet, holds a special place in Williams heart. As a young adult, William took on the role of choir director for the church Young Adult Choir. He was dedicated to his musical service to the Lord. His dedication was later rewarded with the gift of songwriting. His skills as a songwriter and guitarist has lead him to develop many musical compositions. These compositions lead to the recording of two albums. The album Expressions, an instrumental, features his skills as an accomplished guitarist. The second album, Lord We Praise You, show cases his songwriting ability. It is William's hope that through his music, spirits will be uplifted. It is his prayer that through his music the world will find Christ.
